Vaughan Grove in Vaughan Ontario is a smaller community within Vaughan that is undergoing some change. It is an older area with lots of character and because of it's great location, it is slated to increase in density over the next few years with quite a few condominium developments planned for parcels of land off of Highway 7. Vaughan Grove has all different housing types within this great Vaughan Neighbourhood. Currently, the majority of homes in Vaughan Grove are mainly comprised of detached 2 storey homes and small bungalows. You will also find semi detached homes as well as townhomes and townhouses. There is also a pocket of low rise condominiums and retirement homes off Martin Grove Road just next to Vaughan Grove Sports Park.
As mentioned previously, quite a few condominium projects are planned just off of Highway 7 which is undergoing extensive change with the planned new Toronto-York Spadina Subway Estension (TYSSE) which is slated to be in operation by 2015. One project which is already under construction is the Volare Condominiums at Highway 7 and Kiplings. This is a mid-rise condo that garnered lots of press with the area residents complaining about the density and increased traffic.
Another project which is in the planning stages is Allegra Condominiums at Highway 7 just east of Martin Grove Road. These 2 developments are just the start of the revitalization of Highway 7 in downtown Woodbridge. What a fabulous neighbourhood to be associated with.
Vaughan Grove is located in Vaughan Ontario. Vaughan Grove is situated just north of Steeles Avenue and south of Highway 7 between Martin Grove Road to the west and the Humber River to the East. West Woodbridge, East Woodbridge, Rexdale and West Woodbridge Industrial Area are neighbourhoods that border on Vaughan Grove.
Vaughan Grove has the Vaughan Grove Sports Park and The Soccer Centre where the Ontario Soccer Association Headquarters and Indoor Facility are. The Sports Park is home to the Woodbridge Strikers Soccer Association. The soccer fields and baseball diamonds are put to great use during the spring, summer and fall months.
Vaughan Grove is close to Highway 427, and 407. It is also close to Highway 401 as well. Vaughan Mills is 15 minutes away as are fabulous restaurants. Food stores such as No Frills, Cataldi, and Fortinos are all within a 10 minute drive.
There are elementary catholic schools and public schools just outside the cummunity and there is one catholic high school, Holy Cross Catholic Academy High School in the community as well that ranks well relative to the rest of York Region High Schools.
Property Values in Vaughan Grove have been steadily increasing similar to the other Vaughan communities. Homes range in price from the mid $200,000s for condominiums in Villa Giaradino Woodbridge to well over $600,000 for a detached bungalow near Kipling Avenue and Highway 7.
Vaughan Grove is home to a diverse group and that is a function of the many housing types within Vaughan Grove. Here you will find young families, families with older children as well as seniors living in some of the bungalows in the area as well as some of the seniors only buildings such as Villa Giardino. A safe community that has it all.
